  2. Keep practicing in your head.

  3. You're going to say a lot of stupid things. Accept it.

  4. Use audio and online courses for the first 100 words and basic grammar.

  5. Use the language daily.

  6. One-on-one tutoring is the best and most efficient use of time.

  7. Have a date someone who speaks the target language and not your native language.

  8. When you learn a new word, try to use it a few times right away.

  9. TV shows, movies, newspapers and magazines are good supplements.

  10. Find a way to make it fun.
